Kandu is a vertical grill oven inspired by the traditional urn-shaped tandoori ovens from Rajasthan, India. With its unique shape and innovative design, Kandu can reach a very high temperature of up to 400°C. Combined with its vertical architecture, ingredients are grilled quickly and evenly on all sides. This results in juicy, flavorful dishes in an inviting design, perfect for cozy gatherings with family and friends.

Smart construction

Kandu combines traditional inspiration with modern innovations in material use, finishing, and ease of use.

The two-part construction provides a clearly readable layout of the functions: the round base with adjustable ventilation is specifically designed to make lighting the fire easy and quick, the removable tube ensures vertical grilling, and the removable lid completes the elegant silhouette. Wood accents in the handles provide a safe and pleasant finish.

 

 

Kandu works differently

Its unique shape creates a ‘heat vortex’ throughout the oven. The heat (which can reach temperatures up to 400°C / 750°F) will quickly sear your food from all sides and will even cook it from the inside out. This means jucier, crispier and more tender grilled meat, fish or vegies.

 

 

 

Flavorful design

The Kandu is made from stainless enameled steel, aluminum, and finished with wooden handles, which not only contribute to its durability but also to the aesthetic value of the product. These materials ensure that Kandu can withstand high temperatures while maintaining a stylish appearance.

Easy control of the air inlet and the built-in thermometer make grilling precise and very easy.
